Top 15 Concept Cell-Phones!
Concept Phones are great, as they give you an idea about what designers can do when they dont have to be concerned about the mundane stuff.
Here is a list of Top Fifteen concept phones that might or might not meet Realism.
15. TripleWatch
Though the idea of a cellphone watch is not so new, the TripleWatch designed by Manon Maneenawa has an interesting triple flip technique that allows the user to transform the watch into a normal cellphone. When used as a wrist watch, the phone has a speaker button that allows the user to answer the phone and hang up while driving.
14 . What You See is What You Get Concept
One thing is for sure about this concept phone...they could've named it shorter. Designed by Pei-Hua Hang, the phone's name comes from the fact that this concept no longer uses an LCD as viewfinder for the digital camera, instead it uses a transparent frame. And of course, interaction is made through a touchscreen
13 . Asus Aura

10. Bracelet Phone with Built-in MP3 Player
When this Bracelet phone receives any message, it starts vibrating and making or receiving a phone call is just too easy. To read the message, take the bracelet out of your wrist and press the diamond-like keystroke.

8. BenQSiemens Snake phone
I am just thinking of how to operate this snaky phone. The concept phone looks like a snake and you can wrap it around your wrist.
The looks are cool and captivating but I doubt the ease with which we will be operating this crazy snaky concept phone.

The Black Label Retroxis phone by designer Lim Sze Tat reflects a retro

What about the Morph Concept???
funny how half these phones look like crap compared to the iphone
Seriously, Nokia Morph should be #1
A lot of these designs seem impractical.
haha. seriously. the iphone is better than any of these concepts. and it's a reality not a pipeline product. i wish all these companies would put their money where their mouths are. instead of creating concept phones. create actual products. nokia is the #1 joke in my opinion. they put out all these impractical, futuristic videos and try to hype products that are decades away from even achieving. they're going to be left in the dust by apple. i love it and can't wait! :)
The concept seems to be wear your phone as jewelery which would only appeal to about half the population.
all these concept phones and you didnt pick this one?
it has HDMI a kickass 3D UI, 10 hrs of HD playback and capture and 100 hours of music.
I'd buy it in a heartbeat

Those nokia concept phones are just way too spaced out. Mind you, appealing to that "half of the population" has seemed to work in favour for nintendo.
The iphone is not THAT great though. I just cant get behind anything that's so restrictive... especially with job's tantrums over people unlocking the thing.
I like that skinny black retro phone though... i hope that comes out.
nice compilation with videos, but definitely should have included the morph concept http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IX-gTobCJHs
i'm shocked that there isn't a motorola concept phone on here? most of them look like something from a bad science fiction movie.
this compilation is a big help although these units aren't really available in all areas. good exposure though.
