Mother Arrested For Driving Her Son To Fight!
Calif. A Folsom mother has been arrested for allegedly driving her 13-year-old son to fight another boy -- and
even trying to keep the fisticuffs going by rooting her son on.
Renee Honnold, 37, was arrested Thursday and booked on felony child endangerment and conspiracy charges.
Authorities say the fight happened Monday afternoon at a Folsom gas station.
Two boys had gotten into an altercation earlier in the day and mom drove her boy to finish up the dispute.
The mother allegedly waited in the car while the two boys fought and confronted another parent who tried to break up the fight.
Investigators learned of the mother's alleged involvement after a video of the fight shot by fellow student began circulating around Sutter Middle School, where the dust-up all began.
Honnold is scheduled to be formally charged Monday in Sacramento County Superior Court.

there's a clean line between encouraging your kid to stand up for himself versus encouraging him to be aggressive..
Of course this is a news story and there could be some twists in it as it was reported but it sounds like a pretty lame example of parenting to me.
Its not just lame...its totally senseless!
